The room was spacious and immaculate, allowing ample space to unwind after a day of exploring. The wildlife surrounding the hotel truly enhanced the experience!

Despite the exceptional service, the main door's passcode lock was a bit tricky to navigate, which added a slight delay each time I entered or left.

Rooms could use better sound insulation between them!!! The driveway needs some smoothing, major bumps are frustrating when arriving or departing!!! Night tours could include more diverse wildlife types!!!

Staying at Arenal Monara was incredible! The Superior Twin Room felt spacious and had a lovely terrace with an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, making my stay very comfortable. Hosts Angela and Armando truly made the difference. Armando took me on a night hike through their garden, spotting fascinating wildlife like frogs and insects, which was a highlight. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town center yet nestled in nature. However, the driveway to the property could use some smoothing. some bumps made navigating a bit tricky, especially with luggage. Overall, this place is a gem and I can't wait to return!

Highly recommended for couples

The location was perfect! Just a 10-15 min walk from the town center, the street felt safe at night. Had this amazing view of the volcano from my room, and the terrace was great for relaxing. I did a night walk with Armando through their garden, saw a red-eyed tree frog, very nice experience!

It wasn’t very inexpensive, but it was worth it for the memories created here.

The Superior Twin Room was super comfy and had great amenities like a coffee machine and a lovely balcony. Waking up to the amazing views of Arenal Volcano was unforgettable! The room was spacious and clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast while watching the local wildlife. Definitely a highlight of my stay!

Staying at Arenal Monara was magical, especially during Armando's night walk. He has an incredible eye for spotting wildlife—seeing rare frogs and meeting other creatures was a highlight of my stay!
